I had several of these from the same collection a few years ago.
I kept this one but have since found one in better condition so will let this one go.
It is made from tempered steel unlike the mild steel copies.

there were always things like this when i worked in factorys for cutting/ripping open packaging etc
Theres a photo of one here scroll down the page to see it ,if the provenance with this one is correct note the differences between the one you are thinking of buying E & E

These, and similar items to the ones posted in both the original and at #3 above, were also still being manufactured well into the 1980's at least and being sold by at least one company that I know of. (Survival Aids as was. Dont know if the company is still going or was bought out/went under or what)
Not saying that this is the case with the original posting, just raising an observation guys.
