Made in Orange Arsenal July 1943 with Slazenger made grips which were made in 1942 - Don't stress about the dates not matching up its common for them to come from the arsenal like this. The AUSTRALIA mark on the handle is an import mark when the bayonet was imported into the US post war. Scabbard should be marked Mangrovite and a date near the seam. Average condition and not rare. In Australia they sell for about $200 AUD which is about $150 USD but i think they are usually cheaper in the US.
