Default WW2 British Case, map, No. 3

Yet another pattern of wartime British map case. Again from my collection.

These were much more compact and were designed for use in the Far East. It is dated 1945. The other marking of VC 8262 is the stores code.

These can also be found made in khaki material: these are harder to find and have suffered from the dreaded "Airborne" connotation, bumping up the price paid for them.

    Cheers, Ade.
