Hi Tony,
The first photo is a WWII U.S. meat can pouch that was seperated from M-1928 Haversack. There are two leather fork and knife cover inside, which is a very goog thing as these are oftenly missing.
The little pouch at the right looks like a Water risitance Jungle food bag. There should be two pairs of stings attached, and black spec stampings.
The belt looks British, but need better photos for others to confirm.
Don't know about the armband.
Two U.S. gears mentioned above are originals, whether or not belong to the same person I'm not sure as I have a fuzzy feeling on the name stencils.

The belt is indeed British 1937 pattern.
