    After getting my combat jacket, its time to look for some gear to go along with it.

    Looks like it has seen plenty of field wear.

    Cover marked US and dated 1941 and Canteen marked US GP&F Co., 1943.

    Hi Nuno
    Is that a Baker-lockwood canteen cover? If so is the join at the side or up the rear of the cover, its just that Baker-Lockwood made both the M1910 (M1917) canteen cover and the M1910 (M1942) canteen cover in that year, it must be that they were between contracts for the old and new design and thus 1941 dates can be found for both models.
