Hi all! Picked up in Ypres, Belgium whilst on battlefield touring holiday.
Have tried to research the box and the letter/number stamps but to no avail.
Any help appreciated

I would say it is a US Footlocker.

It does not look like a personal foot locker to me. I have seen these type of lockers in use by the US Navy as late as the early 80's on my ship. Just used for storage for various things needed by the deck crew. One near my battle station was used to store helmets. The numbers were some sort of inventory which could have been anything at the time. Hope this helps you.

Thanks Burt, think my search is over..........
