    hi nuno never seen that type of red stamp marks before,doesn't mean there not right tho,look minty for 70 years old?someone will confirm no doubt,cheers dave,

    I never seen red writing in these, but looks good.

    hi again nuno if these are the same ones as on ebay you would be better off buying the buy it now set for £15 + £6 postage,at least all the markings are visible on that set,and look fine,dave

    Hi Nuno, As stated above these are a nice set but not rare at all. As long as you don't pay a bunch for them they are fine. Anything above $15.00 would be pushing it.

    I have seen leggings with red lettering before.
    I cant make out the lettering. Is there a date on them?

    Nuno,
    as has already been stated there fine, and yes they have probably never been issued. They mast have made these M1938 leggings by the tens of million as they are one of the few U.S. Army items which has not dried up or change much in price over the last twenty years, also some years ago now another large batch was found in storage all mint and various sizes. There are repros’ out there but they very easy to spot as quite frankly the crap.
