    Hello everyone,

I could use a little help or direction on this one. I have a tag stamped "11./J.F.A.R. 639" with a roll number of 63 and blood type stamped A. I cannot find an artillery regiment 639 but I did find a single Korps level battery 639 so I do not think this is an artillery abbreviation. Any input is appreciated!

    Goodmorning Eike,

I'm sorry that the info is in German but here is what I found:

    Grenadier- (Feldausbildungs-) Regiment 639

(Feldausbildungs-) Division unterstellt.

Thank you guys! I got very focused on the A.R. abbreviation being "Artillery Regiment" and did not look at the bigger picture! I appreciate the help.
