5./SS. F.A.Bti.WIKING, need Help

Hi guys,

what do you think of this dog tag? Except for the large font Wiking it seems to be good.
What are your opinions on this?

is the disk a fake from russian? or a original part?

I don't think it is Original. It has a reasonably low roll number and no "waffen-SS" stamp on the back. The stamping itself reads OK for the unit. The font looks similar to bad fonts in the other thread on fonts. The SS runes don't match what is on other disks of this unit with higher roll numbers that are known originals. Someone else may have another opinion but I would not take it myself.

This particular unit disc is faked A LOT; so they're always risky to even consider. It's not at all the same as the one Dimas says is orignial here: Opinion on SS Wiking erkennungsmarke . And the number font is very much like common fakes- I haven't compared any to see for sure, but the same style would be enough for me to say no, given the other issues. I wouldn't be surprised if the letter font matches some fake too. So I wouldn't touch it either.
