I don't see anything wrong with it- nice stamping, no errors, not a 'famous' unit so unlikely to be faked...

Doesn't appear to have any evidence of the more common ageing techniques that replicas often display, i.e. it isn't covered in chemical burns. As Matt says too, nice sharp stampings and doesn't claim to be from a concentration camp etc.

    Matt L, carltiger, thank you!
But as is it correct to decipher? Is it commandant's headquarters or, nevertheless, chief?

Kdr. = Kommandantur- which is the command section, yes, where the commandant and all the administrative personnel were; and 'J. Schule' would probably be 'Junker-Schule'- officer cadet training school.

There certainly was an SS officer training establishment at Bad Tolz

Indeed- interestingly, I'm just reading a book about Michael Wittmann and apparently he went there for his officer training...

    Hello
I also have a dog tag of this unit. Is there already better insights whether they are original or just a good fake

    Thanks and greetings

I have no problem with any of the three posted.
The second one appears to be double stamped on part of it.
