I have just bought this ID disc, it is Erkennungsmarke2. Schütz.Ers.Kp.106 A 954, I am not very keen on ID disc so all info is welcome

This is a replacement unit of Infanterie-Ersatz-Bataillon 106 which was originally formed on 27th August 1939 in Aschaffenburg, in Wehrkreis IX. The Bataillon came under the control of 159th Infantry Division supplied replacements for the 15th Infanterie-Division.

In effect its title is as the 2 Schütz Ersatz Kompanie of Infanterie Ersatz Btl 106.

I would say it is all original and ok. Not bad for something you were not keen on.
