Erkennungsmarke Bau-Bataillon 226 ?

Hi Forum
I have jut bought this Erkennungsmarke, I think it is all right, and not a copy. I am not very keen on Erkennungsmarke, but I think it is Bau-Bataillon 226, I have used the link enclosd link to look it up. More info and comments are welcome

Goodmorning John,
Based on these pictures I would say it is an original zinc erkennungsmarke. It is indeed Bau-Bataillon 226 and the 1. Kompanie. This particular unit excisted only for a short period of time before it was redesignated to Luftwaffen-Bau-Bataillon 24/XI.

On thing that caught my eye is that Bau. and Batl. are both stamped in a different font. Not that it's a bad thing, but just a detail I picked up.
