Erkennungsmarke Schützen-Einheiten

Good morning guys,

This morning I went to a small flea market and to my surprise I found this nice erkennungsmarke. It is from Geschütz-Ersatz-Kompanie für motorisierte Schützen-Einheiten 85. No doubts about it being original, but I do have a question.



Does anyone know to wich unit this Kompanie belonged to? I have looked online and could not find it. I think it is part of a Panzer Division, but that is al I have.

Well to be honest I did not know what Panzer Division at all. The idea of a Panzer Division was because I found the Geschütz-Ersatz-Kompanie für motorisierte Schützen-Einheiten 104 wich was part of the 23. Panzer Division.

I think that the military department of the erkennungsmarke is Schützen-Ersatz-Regiment 85.
