GD dog-tag?

I do not think this unit existed, I think the G.D. Panzer ERS. unit was a brigade.

So this was a fantasy dog-tag or the GD "added" later?

It looks like it was all stamped at the same time to me, it would be easier to tell with it in hand but I think it was stamped together.

I do not think there is an actual unit, either the tag is a complete fantasy or there was a Panzer Ersatz Regiment GD. All I can find is a ersatz brigade GD.

It doesn't make sense to me. A 6th company of the Panzer company replacement regiment GD?

Was told this was a Gross-Deutschland, hence the GD, dog-tag, but I am not an expert on these items...

I am not an expert on shoulder boards, but I think that is what you have posted here the "Grossdeutchland" emblem from a shoulder board.

The tag is no good it is a fake.
