Found this german dog tag.

Is it an Original?

And what does it mean?

I believe it refers to Panzergrenadier-Ersatz-Bataillon 50, which was a motorised unit from October 1941, having originally been formed in 1939 as an Infantry Replacement Btl in Wehrkreis III in Küstrin. The pictures are not the clearest and it's difficult to make a decision. The unit existed so it isn't a fantasy.

IMO,, not good.. On the bottom photo you can see the metal discoloring on the back of the tag where the stamping is. This is indicative of being recently (post war) done.
