H.V.PL. SS Disk

Hi all,

I have this disk marked:

H.V.Pl.

1/San. Kp. SS-Pz.Gren Div. "T"

What is the "H.V.Pl."? everything I look into starts with Heeres that does not seem correct for this disk.

I am not 100% sure, but the thing that pops up in my mind is Hauptverbandplatz.

When I look at the Lexikon it appears that the Hauptverbandplatz (HVPl) is a Heer (army) organization, why would the SS have troops stationed there?

Hauptverbandplätze (clearing stations) were set up by divisional medical companies. They were not specific to the army, but existed in the W-SS as well.
