    Default help with inscriptions

    I have bought a Dog Tag, and it reads Gem. Schütz. The Schütze part I know that it means foot soldier, as to the "Gem." I have no idea, can anyone help me?

    Hi:

    I´m sure that it is an original because I just bought it last Friday in the Original Musee in Bastogne. I ve been trying to solve the mistery of the Gem. all week-end. I tought maybe you guys can help me out.
    But sure tomorow first thing I´ll post some photos of my first tag.

    Hi Luis, usually "gem" = gemischt. But lets see a pic first.

    What do the inscriptions mean?

    gemischte? What´s gemischte?

    Schütz it stands for foot soldier, right?

    And could someone tell me what outfit this guy belonged to, and where did it was stacioned?
