1727 = the soldier's personal number
A = his bloodgroup
STAMM.KP = Stamm Kompanie
GR.ER.320 = Grenadier.Ersatz. Batallion .320

And you can find the unit information in the Lexikon der Wehrmacht sticky thread's link- it's in the section for Infanterie (which were redesignated 'Grendier' in 1942).
