Good day gentleman.
Would like to hear Your opinions on this erkennungsmarke of 4./Panz.Rgt.G.D
My knowledge is small when it comes to erkennungsmarken. I would, as allways, appreciate Your help a lot. I know if it is original, than it is a very rare piece of history.

So I do not have an example of this unit, but the "a" in "Panz" and some of the other fonts look like bad fonts check out this tag from the fake section.

Eike is spot on. This Grossdeutschland emarke is a reproduction.
The font is widely known as the so called 'Rokas' font. Take a look at the sticky threads in the erkennungsmarken sub-forum, this will show you the fonts of the many fakes around.

I was supecting it could be fake. Isn't it also normaly written Pz. instead of Panz. for Panzer Regiments?
