It's almost impossible to find the soldiers' names. The only organization which keeps all the data is Deutsche Dienststelle (WASt) but they won't provide you anything about the soldier hidden behind the ID tag inscriptions unless you're family member. Nevertheless, you can always try...

My Dad had to have his Mother make the request to get his Uncle's service record because she was the nearest living relative (his sister)- even as a great-nephew he wasn't by law able to do it himself. Nobody's military or civil organizations would be allowed to give out service records or other personal information to non-kin; can you imagine asking the MOD or DoD for some guy's record? They'd tell you to go jump in a lake LOL
