KM Erkennungsmarken

Article about: So they look good ha? Even though they are made of aluminum they are still in bad condition.

    Hi all, what do you think of these?
    I picked them all from the same collector.
    They appear to be relics and i would like to confirm authenticity with you.
    I know that the first number is the roll number but what does the ''K'' stand for?

    I have added an SS ERK to show how small are the KM ones. Is this normal? I never had in hand another KM one to compare so the size seemed weird to me.

    Hi Chris, the "K" suffix designates Coastal Artillery.

    These aren't uncommon- I suspect a hoard of buried issued and unissued discs was found some years ago; I bought 10 or 12 at once myself of these and other types together.
    Ohhhhh- pillage then burn...
