Latest Disc

Article about: Well the main unit text reads 'le Art. Ers. Abt. mot. 228' and since it's an artillerie unit, clearly the subunit at the top has to be 'Stammbatterie' If you look up Artillerie-Ersatz-Abteil

Maybe Stalingrad? If someone has info on the unit that may help. I'm still not the best at figuring it out.

NIce disc!! I agree that these have that "attachment" aspect to them rather than the anonymity of a dug badge or medal
( but I like them too - anything cheap is good with me! )

My research has failed me on this one. I believe it is an artillery reserve unit, but can't figure out which one. Matt L, you're like OB1, you may be my only hope!
