    I doubt it's likely to be a fake- it's Schützmannschaft-Bataillon 17, which is way too obscure a unit for most anyone to know of, let alone make a fake of LOL I'd never even heard of it...

    I wonder if these were marked by Latvians- there's no Umlaut over the 'U' in 'Schützm.', which is usually something that would make me wonder if a piece is fake, but in this case, the conditions of all these discs doesn't look artificially-produced at all. So it seems logical the they weren't made by Germans.

    On dog tags written SHUTZ..., but correct will be SCHUTZ...

    I thought something else looked weird but I couldn't put my finger on what it was LOL Normally with two major 'mistakes' I'd be very much wondering if a disc were fake, but as I say, the conditions of the discs sure does look legitimate- plus they're all different; and the unit type is very obscure- usually fakers pick types that would be recognizable, not ones people have to look up. Sadly, without a known original to compare these to, we can't say for sure they're real.
