Article about: I was able to add this Erkennungsmarke to my collection. 1 Batterie Artillery Regiment 16. From what I can gather, by July 1942 renamed Panzer Artillery Regiment 16. Destroyed at Stalingrad

    I was able to add this Erkennungsmarke to my collection.
    1 Batterie Artillery Regiment 16.
    From what I can gather, by July 1942 renamed Panzer Artillery Regiment 16.
    Destroyed at Stalingrad I believe.

    Ralph, that's one pretty Erkennungsmarke!
    You are right about the unit, it was destroyed in Stalingrad and raised again on 1 March 1943 in France as part of 7. Armee.
