I personally don't like this one.
IMO, the #1 tag for this company would certainly show some signs of wear on the cord holes.

I haven't seen an Ekm for the Werkstatt kompanie of Schwere Pz Abt 503. Can't decide whether the stamping has been artificially aged or not. Worn holes is not always a sure sign of originality as soldiers could carry then within pouches and the wear is not always as heavy.

Given the pedigree of the unit I and the rollnummer 1, which would make it very desirable if original I somehow have my doubts it is an original.

I was curious about the roll number myself, not so much the wear. The unit was almost too good to be true and because of that I definitely have my doubts as well.
