POW? Reserve Lazarett ID tag
Hello,
I have one of those POW oblong ID tags which is marked:
Res. Laz.
Bocholt
19
After doing a quick search I don't think I'll have any luck finding the ID, but can anyone tell me if a tag stamped to a hospital rather than a camp would have been worn by a civilian internee, a POW with a permanent position within the hospital or were the tags recycled, being handed out to in-patients throughout the war?
Thanks
Tony

Would belong to one of the staff of the hospital, not a civilian or pow.

Thanks! I always thought German personnel had oval tags.
