Original should be 51 x 37 mm, made in nickel silver (white metal). Details cited in the Reichsministerialblatt der Inneren Verwaltung 1940, Nr. 52.
Straight on pictures would help, as well as giving it a clean up. There are lots of copies about but this one might have a chance if it is indeed white metal under the crud. Better pictures also please.
Might have a chance. Have a look at post #6 and 25 on the other Secret Police disc thread. Numbers seem to be of correct font.
New photos.

Thank you for the new pictures. It almost appears to be over painted in red primer, cannot suggest any explanation for this, they were not painted as s rule, being displayed when the officer carried out his dastardly duties.
Whether you feel brave enough to uncover it is up to you. If the disc is revealed as being low quality zinc then I'm afraid it is not the real deal.
I apologize for the poor scanner. Better photo after returning home.
The soil type can make some white metals go red in ground-dug items. Australian 50c, 20c, 10c and 5c coins all go that colour in the soil. Having said that we are talking Australian soil not European, but still, it might explain it.
