And finally 4 bonus disks I had with my ss disks Please take a look and let me know what you think of these.
I have some more but I need some rest tonight, I hope you guys enjoy. Matt I want to see a few of yours if you can
One I like very much, allways from Austria
Not SS but a curiosity, found in a like near Brussel.
One of my firsts
it's 'der'- 'der Waffen SS' meaning 'of the Waffen SS'
And I don't actually have much of anything anymore- I've been selling them off slowly for a couple of years; just two relic LAH bits left but I'll show them at least
As for the rest of the discs, most are fine- it's a bit hard to tell about some (not the really corroded ones- they're not usually fakes LOL) - you need better light and to use the macro function of your camera to get a good close, large, clear shot. And if at all possible straight on, not at an angle; I understand sometimes angles are necessary to make text visible, but if at all possible it should be kept to a minimum. That one from Arnhem is very bad though- the unit text doesn't make any sense and I'm fairly sure the font is bad too.
The Kavallerie one is ABTLG, not ABILG, for Abteilung.
Ohhhhh- pillage then burn...
I find the "Sicherh polizei Eins. kdo" especial interesting.
BUT- everything in this thread is just wonderful, Im surprised to see all the historical treasures you guys have collected here.
Thaks for showing your excellent items Glenn
@Matt, that LAH is a bit special !!
