Just a couple of issues,
1) I am not sure that unit existed
2) All the numbers and letters are stamped with the same stamp set (even blood type) so it is a big red flag. (possibly pointing to a forgery)
Not getting the warm and fuzzies with this one.
Sans serif font of a suspicious type (the 'racetrack' G, B R & P are reminiscent of previous fakes), evidence of haloing around many of the stamps and although hard to zoom in on suitably, the stamps look to have been applied over the corrosion.
Yeah, this font is not too my liking. going towards a fake
SS-Pz.Gren.A.u.E.-Btl 5 was based in Ellwagen !!
