Hi guys,

This tag is on display in a museum in Gettysburg, PA. Is this a fake tag? Is there anything wrong with the way it is set up?

It looks to be correctly marked as far as the unit. It is really hard to see much else based on that photo.

Should it not be SS-Pionier-Bataillon 10?

This is the lower half which would not have a cord attached.

The stammrollen number is oddly located and the font is san-serif. Not good signs to me unless there are proven similar-unit examples to compare.

It is marked "SS-Pioneer-Battalion 10" the company (2?) is in front of the SS.
