Stalag 315

I have hit a wall with this one. I have seen Stalag 315 listed as Przemysl (Poland) or in France no location given, but was in use March 1944. Also as Ludwigsburg (Germany) in use until 1945. So which is it? How would you tell the different sites apart? Any info on which countries troops were held there would most welcome, thanks in advance.....paul.

I'm not sure about it being located in France, but it was located in Poland and Germany. It does appear to have held nationals from the East and even Far East (there is evidence of Indian troops bring murdered there). An enquiry to the ICRC in Geneva may yield some evidence but you may never know who wore this item.
