Unknown Erkennungsmarke

A flea-market pick-up, it has a high number - 2087 - Nachrichten Regiment 2. I don't know what the LG. stands for ? perhaps Leichte Gruppe ? looked through Lexikon der Wehrmacht could only find one Regiment 2 in the Nachrichten section that was Panzer Nachrichten Regt. 2 which I think it doesn't belong to. Who ever had the dog tag, has dot punched their blood group - O. Any information is welcome.

The punctim blood group letter is great- the ancient Romans used to mark their arms and armour that way so it's neat to see it continued 2000 years later...
