This batallion was founded in East Prussia, from Rominten village, where lockated Hermann Goring`s hunting house.

I would always rather know the story of the item rather than a story of an event, sadly stories can easily attached to items but they do not make them original without some provenance of the item itself. Would love to see another to corroborate this one.

As Blackcat said in his first reply, we need some clear detailed pictures of the stamping on the emarke. The pictures above in post #1 are not good and not clear enough.
