Dear Experts, who can help - French WW2 dogtag came from Eastern Europe.

Is it from The Legion of French Volunteers Against Bolshevism (French: Légion des volontaires français contre le bolchévisme, or simply Légion des volontaires français, LVF)?

I am also looking for soldier family to ship it home if someone can help me. thanks...

I don't collect these, but I believe that WW2 issue French identity tags had the year of enlistment on them. The same pattern of disk was used into the 1950's (Indochina/Vietnam) which is what your dates to as far as I know.

Our French members will surely confirm or correct me shortly.
