I'm just wanting some help in identifying this badge. What period is it from? Is it authentic?

Its fine. 1936-39 manufacture. Used throughout the war and afterwards on visor caps and winter headgear.
Non nobis, Domine, non nobis, sed nomini tuo da gloriam!
Thanks so much for your responses! Are you able to tell me how you can tell that it was produced between 1936 - 39? There doesn't seem to be any maker markings on it.
These are not maker marked.
The pattern later changed to a one piece construction in 1940, hence they can be dated to this period.
Nice badge.
Cheers, Ade.

I see. Well thank you for everyone's input. How much do you think something like this is worth?
Not enough to retire on...

Hahaha darn you! My early retirement plans have been dashed!!
I believe this badge to also be one produced between 1936 & 1939. Does anyone know if any fakes were produced? This one looks almost TOOOO good!
Copies are currently made in Eastern Europe (Belarus) and sold as such, see Schuster.ru, but this is not one of them.
This is a nice badge which I would be happy to own.
Cheers, Ade.
