Collar Tab Pilot Wings

What do you think about this collar tab? Found in Ciney / Belgium on the military trade fair.

The rang insignia is not magnetic.

But the hole collar tab is to small (6 high x 5,5 cm) to be from an overcoat and all pictures I found the rang insignia was below the propeller/wing and not above.
In this case is a hole above the propeller/wing.

This tab is indeed for a shinel.

In my opinion, the insignia is authentic, one can see remnants of silvering (however, I believe that that is M43 regulation), and should be located further above, like you have written, in the upper hole.

It seems to me the tab itself it is missing it's tress - either black for soldiers and commissars, or gold lace for commanders - with the latter making more sense in this case.

Perhaps that is the reason for it's seemingly "smaller" size?

It seems to me like a Bulgarian coats tabs, they use the same design or even made in USSR metal insignia
