Article about: Hello, I found these two photos. Were such gimnasterkas with a one pocket normal or was the other pocket maybe removed by a defect? Paul

I have seen the order a couple of month ago- this is a technical troops gym, as said a working garment, must be worn without any of insignia

I' ve said as it mentioned in the order. As all the tankman garments by order must be worn without insignia, but seen examples are worn with insignia. Shown picture are both non factory applied insignia, as the previous pictures in this thread. This type of gym seen being worn turned into the throusers, and looks like a coveral from the first look

I trace this post with the discovery of a new photo showing a single pocket on the M35.
It is part of a group photo or the officer carries the insignia of Engineering.
Always interested in information about this model gymnasterka !!

    Hello,
Found a Russian speaking thread from 2005 with the same question about one pocket gymnasterka.
The answer is that they were introduced briefly during Winther war in Pribaltiysky Military district.
They were not manufactured during GPW.
