Looks like red piped motorized infantry . $12 isn't bad

Actually, I do not believe that pogori is branch specific. IIRC that style of pogori is Army wide, as it has no branch piping to denote any specific branch of service. Branch would be shown by the application of branch insignia. If it had the insignia of the star within the wreath, then it would be Motorized Infantry.

Here are some of the other modern branch insignia that I have.

Armour: Both dress, and subdued for field use.

Finally you have shoulder boards of lt. colonel of soviet ground forces(tanks,artilery,armed infantry,engineers...).

This kind of boards has weared with casual jacket,casual greatcoat and demi-season coat till 1991.
