Identifying a telogreika jacket

Another interesting photo: Woman with child during the Siege of Leningrad. The child is wearing a mini telogreika - "minigreika".

Hi RKKAFan, the material was stitched in by hand with synthetic thread so I doubt was original. I think it was done the same time the buttons were changed.

I found this picture on the internet and in the first instances it looks to be a normal German fur jacket worn in the winter but than I saw on the opening from the jacket a padded pattern that looks to a telogreika jacket.
Can anyone help me by this?

I suspect postwar because of the pocket and rear belt.

    Hello

Pocket and rear belt are known for WW2. I would rather say early type with the colar?

Together? I was always under the impression it was on or the other but not both.

Here is one I saw online and took a bit of risk on; it wasn't much more expensive than the 60s-70s ones on ebay. I'm quite pleased with it.

The internal pocket has gone and there is a stamp where the pocket once was, suggesting it saw some wear before entering theatrical service!

(i think i read Kinostudiya then possibly Kostiomniy Zavod on the second line. There are also studio inventory numbers).

The only original stamp (in my view) is the size (P1).

No buttons but some rust residue, so there were probably metal ones there once.

I'm always suspicious of removed buttons but fairly happy that it could be late war through to mid fifties.

A nice addition to the collection. If anyone has a similar/clear studio stamp - i'd love to see it!
