as has been said, the gyms are better highlighted with some equipment .I have follow all your advices to built a uniform of sapper . I totally agree on the importance of a medal to complete the set.

I agree that tunics tend to look more "full" with awards displayed on them, but I don't think anyone should punch new holes in them, just use existing ones if there are any.

The stamp is on the reverse of the front side.

Aleksander , you're totally right. it's a real problem for the officers' uniforms when you would like to screw ordrers . it is very frustrating for gyms M35 with the orders of the red banner of with the first versions of medal'of bravery , 20th anniversary of RKKA...

Great looking display Massenez! I decided to put together tanker display circa 1944. I bought 1942 dated Soviet tank helmet few days ago. Im hoping to share it with you soon
    BTW
Could you give some more advice where should I look for a manufacture stamp? Im afraid that it might be very faded and I might miss it easily. Is it located in shirts lower edge or maybe in shoulder area?
    Regards
    Jacob

Jacob, mine is marked on the lower part of the front side but it is sometimes difficult to see a stamping . Clear stamps are suspect. Try to look for a marking with natural light and take a picture if you think that you have found something. Stamps are more clear on pictures.
But don't worry, your gym is a very good buy.

Thanks Bagration, I am happy to have found a large side. My last buy was a female pocket less gym but a small size....

Yes a tanker I think it's interesting and cheap option instead of completing whole combat gear. Also, I love T34/85s!
