These were the first things I collected in Soviet militaria. I'd like some insight on whats rare, common, or fake ()
I apologize for my crummy phone camera, too many scratches from it being flung around

1st: VDV beret made in 1990
2nd: I believe a 1969 experimental VDV beret? Pretty worn.
3rd: Marine Infantry beret, not sure of the year. I tried to get a picture of the worn stamp on the inside. Since the lighting ***** it may be hard to see.
4th: KGB Lenin's tomb guard beret? Is this legit?
5th: VDV beret with original tag, I'm not sure what the device is on the flash but I'm pretty sure it doesn't belong there, but again I don't know :P.
6th: unknown beret, had a tag in there though. Anyone know what it is?
Better pictures would be great!
The naval infantry badge is hard to tell, as these continued to be made sans markings, so this one might not be pre-91? Can't tell. Does it have a provision for the underchin cord?
I'd love to see better pictures!
I've never really seen a red VDV beret, a KGB beret nor the brown one. It'd be easier to tell what the brown one was if it had a badge or a cockade ! And from what I can tell on the second VDV beret there is that it's a VDV Signal Trooper's beret.
I'm not sure, but I once seen a sage green hat with a brown band as well as brown piping and I was told it was Ukrainian (When they were still a part of the Soviet Union), maybe the last (brown) beret is Ukrainian in origin as well ?
I think that all Berets here are original, but I have never seen a kgb Lenin tomb guard beret. Raul
