    Default New Gymnastierka pick up

    Hello Gents,

I picked up this Gymnastierka yesterday for a good friend and forum member. It's a very light khaki color. The only stamps are the two Hammer & Sickle stamps on the inside of the chest pocket. I also picked up a cap i will post in the headgear forum. Very nice "Gym" in my opinion.

I can take more pics for reference if someone should be interested. We do not have that much of these items here.

    Hi Lars,

very nice gym, I would love to get hold of a salty one of these to complement my salty field cap. Can you tell if yours is wartime or post war.

    Best wishes

    Robin

Hi Robin, this is the Obr 35 pattern. It was replaced by the Obr 43 pattern.

    Cheers, Ade.

Ade is of course correct. "M35"/Obr 35. It's a pre war or WW2 model. I actually don't know if it's been to war

This is an interesting beast Lars

Logically pockets with pleats indicate a model for Nkvd.
The absence of traces of collar tabs may indicate use after the beginning of the war .

You are of course right dom It's NKVD and there is signs of collar tabs on it. I can try to take some more pics of the collar if needed.

    С новым годом

Unfortunately I see no trace of sewing but my eyes are not as efficient a few years ago.

Here they are. I will agree with you. They are not very visible on the previous pics
