Officers/NCO's blue sharivaris

Hi Guys, these are a new buy for me. They are red piped for Artillery/Tankists.

No markings in them at all. But the clip is nicely marked for a Moscow maker.

They have been well used over the years and would benefit from a clean.

I expect they date from the 1950's?

I thought that the red piping was for general Army, not branch specific.

I know that there are sharovari that are piped to be branch specific. I have seen, although I do not own any with the raspberry piping. I have a set that are a medium green fabric, with red piping that are NKVD border troops dress sharovari, a set of the medium blue with red piping, that I was told are general Army issue, and a set of the medium blue, with Royal blue piping that are Cavalry troops.

In other words, I was told that the red piping is general Army, not branch specific.
