Question: Choosing the right Ushanka(Fur hat)
Greetings! I'm willing to buy a grey ushanka, the worldwide known Russian hat and, why not saying, actually a symbol of Russian culture and Soviet Union, a fashion article for people of all ideological convinctions.
I noticed, while browsing a few models in a search for the best price and size, that some of them clearly are made from a different fabric. I realized that some of them are clearly fluffy, while another models are not completely fluffy. Are both models authentic? Are both fabric from the same period? (Ignoring the badge style)
That's what I mean:

Hi ,

You meant that none of them are the proper models?
Btw, by "original", I meant the same model as the Soviet Army, not necessarely from WWII.

The Ushanka market is a mine field. So many reproductions and models for MVD, old Militzia, civilian ones and so on.
