It looks pretty much like WWII Japanese tunic or maybe post-war chinese? Deffinitely a Asian style uniform.

my guess is the collar tabs and buttons are trying to make it look like something it is not.

Yeah, it may have been a reenactor's attempt at converting a Russian jacket to a Japanese WW2 style one. Kind of like the way people used to mess with Swedish tunics and convert them to German back in the day.

My initial thought was also Japanese....untill I saw the Cyrillic stamp. Now I have no idea what this is. Perhaps as Polygon says, an 80's Russian jacket turned into a Japanese looking tunic for re-enactors
