Non nobis, Domine, non nobis, sed nomini tuo da gloriam!
yes i have read a lot but i like Always to share some views with te members here my feeling is good by this item but i like you oppinions if you like?
Bizarre one... I say bizarre because this one has been turned inside-out. I has the rear belt removed and resewn to the new exposed side so that it could be worn inside-out. Likewise the internal (now external) breast pocket has been removed. Based on the factory internal pocket appearing on this cut of Telogreika, I lean towards this one being an early postwar example. Based on the condition and modification, I suspect it was uded and worn home by a German POW... but that is my opinion.
As far i know it was found in a barn with some ww2 soviet helmets to i appericiate your opinion some of my friends lean to a wartime production some say what you say early post war verry difficult things i think its wartime but not shore of this.
But why you turn things inside out verry bizarre.
Maybe better pictures ?
What type helmets found with this Telogreika ?
Strange for the reasons cited by Mike, inside and outside seem of the same color , right ?
i wil ask pics of the helmets . the inside and the oudsite are verry heavenly worn but the what is now the oudside is the most worst side and not exactly the same color.
