Urgent help on M43 gym.

Dear all.

Could a war time M 43 tunic have such pocket? Exactly like pre/early war officer. Same cut and same style internal pocket- loop and button closure, not buttonhole. War time metal button. Clean shoulders- no evidence of straps or loops. Most buttons were war timers, some post war. Factory made piece, no stamps. Material was, I think Lend-Lease.

Hello, NKVD's M43 Gym have external Pockets (in different cut and style) and were often made in lend-lease fabric. I have many models in my own collection. But this one picture is not enough to judge .

Thanks for the reply. NKVD have scalloped pockets? The material on the one I saw was not Lend-Lease actually but Russian.

Yes, the pocket pictured is M35 infantry officer blouse. The one I saw was factory made M43 (not altered M 35) and had exactly same style pocket with exactly same style inner pocket.
