As we have touched on before, the problem with these odd telogs is they were worn by the civilian population, returning German PoW's etc. I would always be more tempted to attribute these odd ones to these groups rather than the Red Army.

I agree with Ade... I think it is of Soviet origins, but not military. Might this have come from Germany?

Civil manufacture for me.
However there are Telogreika less thick in the conception .

Cannot comment on the manufacturing period but just for the info, concerning the "strangeness" (not thick and left side closure) of this telogreika. These were produced along with trousers in post war Estonia as well.
