Wartime telogreika?

Article about: Looks like a nice WW2 period telogreika to me but I'm not an expret on these so would like to hear other opinions. Thanks!

    This particular image you reference is actually reversed. The correct format for this image is like below. However, if you look into that telogrieka thread, you will find another photo that does show a reverse button telo being worn in the same photo with common left to right button arrangement.

    As we have touched on before, the problem with these odd telogs is they were worn by the civilian population, returning German PoW's etc. I would always be more tempted to attribute these odd ones to these groups rather than the Red Army.

    I agree with Ade... I think it is of Soviet origins, but not military. Might this have come from Germany?

    Maybe our friend 'Uscha' could give us information on the origin of this telegroƮka. With the information, they will be easier to answer.

    Civil manufacture for me.

    However there are Telogreika less thick in the conception .

    Wartime telogreika?

    Cannot comment on the manufacturing period but just for the info, concerning the "strangeness" (not thick and left side closure) of this telogreika. These were produced along with trousers in post war Estonia as well.
