It is also my opinion Lars, pockets and collar are consistent with the construction of the blouse.

    Hi,
Stocks gymnasterka M35, have been modified to conform to gymnasterka M43. The chest pockets have been preserved for some gymnasterka and there is the neck that had changes.
Sometimes chest pockets have also been changed.
    Regards.

    Richie ,

what makes you say that this is a modified M35 ??
For me it is a M43 with apparent pockets as it happens to see vintage photos .
    Hi Guys,

I was referring to the images that Dom posted...

Yes, what Philippe speaks of are factory stocks at the time of regulation change. This is how such conversions appear so factory done... because they are. A company tailor or field level conversion is usually something quite different. The Changes are typically more obvious. I think Lars' Gym is such a factory converted uniform.

Well I'm open to all but someone as a picture of a M35 blouse with reverse slot and horizontal seam specific to women blouses. That's a lot of modifications when we know that women often wore blouses male .

I should add that I'm curious to see M35 with the same fabric, if someone has an example to show.
By cons here is a M43 with the same

That was a bit of a joke Dom.

But to your point it does have patch pockets, which is something of an M35. An odd one for sure, but I think Philippe's suggestion is plausible. Especially if you consider that it might have been converted from an unfinished Gym or even cut but unsewn parts. At that point in can deviate quite a bit with little visible evidence.

But to be completely honest.. Do I know what this thing is beyond a M43 for a woman that happens to have pockets. No I do not, but I am enjoying the discussion.

Philippe's suggestion is indeed plausible in the case of this blouse is unlikely.
Sorry Mike, but I do not quite understand your last sentence
