    Hello

Here is another creation of this summer.

This one is dedicated to the Soviet sailors in general and to the well known FYODOR ANTONOVICH NIKITIN in particiular.

Sailor are considered as elit troupes during the Great Patriotic War. More than Paratroupers, than was mostly a leasure activity, despite Soviet beeing pioniers of this.

As I never saw a sailor's display yet , I thought it would be funny to make one

He is wearing a Troup M43 Gymnastierka with no pocket, a Beskozirka from the north flot (Северный флот) which maybe alowed him to get his English lend lease boots.

    Hope you will enjoy

    Hello Bjorn,

Thanks for your comment. Yes I am fortunate enought to hold a pre 43 cap.

It was the start of this project and the most complex piece to get.

Yes, I can imagine that it's a very hard piece to get! Can you maybe show us the inside of the cap? I've never seen one, not even on the internet.
